The part no one talks about

Your teen has potential. So why does it feel like you're the only one who cares?

If any of these sound like your home, you're not alone. It's the single most common thing parents tell us. And it isn't a discipline problem. It's a development stage.

You're still pushing, reminding and chasing, and wondering why nothing moves unless you're standing over them.

Every conversation about effort turns into one word: "Later." And you're left carrying all the worry alone.

Their phone has more influence over them than you do, and you feel the connection slipping.

On the surface, grades and behaviour look fine. But underneath they're quietly unsure of who they actually are.

They're capable of so much more than they're showing, and you can't work out what's holding them back.

You don't want to be the helicopter parent or the tiger parent, but you don't know what to do instead.

The shift

What if your teen stopped needing to be pushed, and started wanting to move on their own?

Most teens today are academically trained but not internally driven. The shift from external motivation (your nagging, rewards, threats) to internal drive doesn't happen automatically. It has to be guided, and the teenage years are the exact window where the right guidance makes the biggest difference.

When that shift happens, everything changes. Confidence becomes real instead of performed. Effort stops being something they give only when watched. And they start taking ownership of who they're becoming.

Three things you'll walk away with

Everything we've learned over 9 years and thousands of students, condensed into one practical evening for parents.

What's really shaping your teen right now

A clear, honest look at what's driving your teen's confidence and identity today: the device, the peer group, the comparison they live inside. Plus the early red flags most parents miss until it's too late.

How to support growth without controlling it

Practical steps you can use this week to guide your teen, including the simple way to talk so they actually open up instead of shutting you out, and how to hold them accountable without World War III at home.

The Maverick Movement framework

The same framework that's helped thousands of young people build resilience, self belief and the drive to lead their own lives, and how to start applying it with your own teen straight away.

Bonus: why "future ready" now means more than grades

In an AI world that's changing faster than any classroom can keep up, even a perfect GPA isn't enough. See what actually makes a young person stand out, and what to start building in them today.

Your host

Hi, I'm Matt, founder of Maverick Movement

Our mission is simple: help young people develop the confidence, character and self belief they need to thrive in a world that's changing faster than any classroom can keep up with.

Over the past nine years, I've worked with thousands of students across local and international schools in Singapore. Many came to us as capable teens who lacked direction or self belief, and left with a far stronger sense of who they are and what they're capable of.

Is this webinar for you?

This is for you if…

  • You're a parent of a Secondary school teen aged 13 to 17 (Sec 1 to Sec 4/5, local, IP, IB or international).
  • You know your teen is capable of more than they're currently showing.
  • You're tired of being your teen's only source of motivation.
  • You want them grounded in who they are, not swayed by who they're around.
  • You're open to guiding differently, not just pushing harder.

This is NOT for you if…

  • Your child is in primary school. This round is built for Secondary school teens aged 13 to 17.
  • You're looking for tuition, study hacks or a quick grades fix.
  • You're hoping to put your teenager in front of the screen. This session is for parents only.
  • You're not willing to change anything in how you show up at home.

Quick questions

Is it really free?

Yes, completely free. It's a 90 minute live session where we share the most useful insights and tools we've gathered over nine years. There's no obligation to do anything else.

Should I bring my teenager?

No. This session is designed for parents. We share candid, sensitive realities about what teens are going through that aren't age appropriate for them to watch. Come on your own (or with your spouse).

Who is this for?

Parents of Secondary school teens aged 13 to 17 (Sec 1 to Sec 4/5, local, IP, IB or international). It's built specifically for this stage, so it isn't suited to parents of primary school children this round.

What if I can't attend live?

This session is live only. We don't record it and we don't send anything out afterwards, so please only register for a date you can genuinely attend. It's 90 minutes that can change how you show up as a parent.

Is this just a sales pitch?

No. You'll walk away with real, usable insight whether or not you ever work with us further. We do mention how we can help at the end, but the value stands on its own.
